Sony has officially unveiled the PS5 Pro, and along with features like Wi-Fi 7 and 8K support, the company has provided details on how both new and existing games will benefit from the console’s enhanced capabilities.
The PS5 Pro will introduce a feature called Game Boost, which aims to “stabilize or improve the performance of supported PS4 and PS5 games,” according to the PlayStation blog. Additionally, the Pro’s “enhanced image quality” could elevate the resolution of some PS4 titles.
Sony has released a preliminary list of games that will receive updates to leverage the PS5 Pro’s upgraded graphics and performance. Titles marked with a “PS5 Pro Enhanced” label include:

- Dragon’s Dogma II
- Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
- Gran Turismo 7
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Horizon Forbidden West

- The Crew Motorfest
- The First Descendant
- The Last of Us Part II Remastered
The exact performance of games not yet optimized for the PS5 Pro remains unclear. However, Sony has indicated that approximately 40 to 50 games will receive updates to support the PS5 Pro when it launches in November.
