Sony might have confirmed the PS5 Pro while it was busy celebrating

Sony may have inadvertently revealed the PS5 Pro while celebrating 30 years of PlayStation. In a recent blog post commemorating the milestone, Sony shared an anniversary image that seems to include a potential design for the PS5 Pro. Observant fans noticed that the design featured in the image closely matches the PS5 Pro leak from the previous week.

According to Dealabs, the leaked retail packaging for the PS5 Pro showed a design with three distinctive black stripes on the sides, a detail that matches what’s visible in Sony’s anniversary montage. This design differs from the current PS5, which features only a single stripe.

Dealabs had hinted that an announcement could come in early September, but the teaser image from Sony was an unexpected revelation. The official PlayStation Instagram account even shared the image with a “Your first look 👀” caption.

While the PS5 Pro has been anticipated for months, with developers preparing games for the new console, it appears that an official announcement may be imminent. Sources indicate that all games released after September 16th will need to support the PS5 Pro, hinting at a forthcoming official reveal.
