Apple’s online store is offering the new ear cushions in shades like blue, orange, purple, midnight, and starlight for $69 per set, with next-day shipping available. Meanwhile, the updated USB-C AirPods Max can be preordered now but won’t be available until September 20.
For those still using the original Lightning model, Apple continues to sell replacement ear cushions in its classic colors, including green, silver, black, sky blue, and red. However, it appears that the original Lightning version of the AirPods Max has been phased out from Apple’s online store. Currently, the only option available directly from Apple is the new USB-C model, offered in the five newly introduced colors.
