If you’re eyeing a PS5 but aren’t keen on spending $700 for the new PS5 Pro, Sony has a more budget-friendly option!

The company is launching a refurbished PS5 sales section on its website, where you can snag an older model at a reduced price.

On Sony’s certified refurbished site, you’ll find various options marked as “coming soon.” A refurbished PS5 with a disc drive from the original launch design is priced at $399.99, offering a $100 savings compared to a new PS5 Slim with a disc drive. Meanwhile, a refurbished all-digital PS5 from the same design will cost $349.99, also reflecting a $100 discount.

The site will also offer refurbished DualSense controllers. White and black controllers are available for $59.99, while the purple, pink, and gray camo versions are priced at $64.99. These prices represent a $15 discount from the current retail price of new DualSense controllers.

According to Sony, all certified refurbished products undergo a thorough recertification process to ensure they meet the same functional standards as new PlayStation products. However, Sony notes that these refurbished items may exhibit minor cosmetic flaws. Each refurbished product will come with a one-year limited warranty.
